I love the colors of a wedding day (YES, black and white are colors too 😁). Whether it’s a super colorful fall day, the purposefully different toned brudesmaid dresses, or a minimalist wedding, I want you to remember the colors of the day the way they were. For me, the colors of the day help bring out the emotion and highlight the moments too.

I notice a lot of couples online worried about the light on their big day. Get yourself a photographer who loves solving the puzzle known as “light” and don’t worry one bit. The hardest part of photographing a wedding day is figuring out how to shape and use light. However, it should be the LAST thing on my couples’ minds.

If a wedding day could bottle up joy and put it on a dance floor, it would probably look a lot like Christina and Karthik’s.

From a beautiful ceremony at St. Augustine’s to an absolutely packed dance floor at Lazaretto Ballroom, this entire Philadelphia wedding was full of energy, family, and so much love. We snuck away for portraits at City Hall, Independence Mall, and an incredible little spot near the Second Bank that felt straight out of a movie.

Also, these two learned a choreographed first dance while balancing careers in pediatric oncology and pharmaceuticals, so at this point I’m convinced they do not operate on normal human hours.

Such a fun day with two incredible people.

This wedding was like tale from Stefon on SNL. It had it ALL! Ceremony moments with a turtle, a shark tunnel, portraits with penguins, a first look with Sean Couturier at city hall (look closely), fountains, a stroll through Philly, a view of the Ben Franklin Bridge, a photographer with a broken clavicle (😳), and an awesome couple - Alexa and Adam.

When Alexa reached out about a wedding at , I quite literally shrieked with excitement. It was such an amazing day and I loved every minute of it, even if I was dealing with a broken clavicle 😬. Nothing is more healing than an awesome couple, their awesome families, and an awesome location.

David reached out a few weeks ago about an engagement session and I immediately hopped on a call. He was super excited to book a session and asked if we could do it on his absolutely beautiful property. As we walked around, his fiancé Therese pointed out that they walk the property all the time, but that I kept finding new and unique spots that they never noticed. Of course, I had to work some silhouettes, flares, and reflections in too😁. The icing on the cake…. They asked me to be their wedding photographer! I can’t wait!

The reason I got into photography in the first place was to document my own little family. After a week of deciding on a spot for Mother’s Day photos (she’s very indecisive 🤷🏻‍♂️), decided she wanted to head to the Luzerne County Courthouse for the cherry blossoms. Alex and Christina hammed it up the whole time and were the best models ever. The love between these two is unmatched and I love capturing it as often as I can. Of course it helps that I have the prettiest wife and the cutest kid ever 😉. ❤️

From Illinois to the City of Brotherly Love! 🥨

I am still catching my breath (literally 😂) from this whirlwind, last-minute Philly engagement session with Alexa and Adam. These two literally just unpacked their boxes after moving from Illinois and needed to capture that Philly magic.

We hit my favorite trifecta: Rittenhouse Square, City Hall, Race Street Pier.

I am counting down the days until their wedding. Why? Because it’s at Adventure Aquarium. Yes, you heard that right. I’ve been told to keep an eye out for penguins because Adam is their #1 fan. 🐧 🤩

I really channeled my inner Ron Howard for this one 😁. Photography has been my therapy, and it’s such an awesome benefit that others get to benefit from it as well. It’s unique, just like each of my couples and just like my route to it. I’m happy it found me, and I’m so happy couples trust me to keep doing it. Here’s to the future!
