It is the last day of our polka fest and it is always bitter sweet. Many of our attendees have become like a second family to us... ones that we see just once a year. Come check out what you may be missing. Hope to see you on the dance floor.

Our Story and Mission

The Clarissa Ballroom is located in Central Minnesota just off Highway 71 north of Clarissa, a small town of just over 600 people. The Dance Hall was moved to Clarissa from Bertha in the late 1940’s and Jim and Becky bought the Clarissa Ballroom back in 1997 from Becky’s Parents, Tony and Marion Massmann who purchased it from Don Thompson in 1985. Since that time there have been several changes and updates to the building. A brand new vaulted ceiling/roof was put on in 2007, along with new heating and cooling systems a outdoor patio was added in 2017.

The Ballroom has hosted many events over the past several years and hundreds of weddings! This husband and wife team have over 50 years of combined catering experience and along with their children Dylan, Danielle and Derek are dedicated to putting their costumers first by providing Great service, a Friendly Atmosphere, Great Food and even better prices. Jim and Becky will work with you to make your wedding or event as stress free as possible to help make your special day the best day ever!
