During the May 27th City Council meeting, the Spirit on the Square presented a check to the City of Clarinda, for continued support/repair/replacement of the Christmas lights on the square. Shown is Mayor Craig Hill and Spirit on the Square member Tarrah Bailey.

Memorial Day is a time of remembrance and gratitude for those who served to defend our country. Sergy Post 98, always does a wonderful job with their Memorial Day Ceremony.

Make your way to the Clarinda City park on Saturday, April 4th. The Easter Bunny will be there with lots of goodies. Thank you Clarinda Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis for continuing this community project and to the many organizations and businesses for supporting this endeavor.

We’ve been working behind the scenes to plan meaningful ways to bring our community together and we’re excited to share a preview of what’s ahead this year!

Here’s what’s currently in the works:

🌸 April 25th – Prom Photo Opportunity on the Courthouse Lawn
🇺🇸 July 4th – Collecting donations for community flower deliveries
🎉 Bingo Night – Date TBD
🎶 Music on the Square – Date TBD
🦃 Thanksgiving – Collecting donations for community flower deliveries
🎄 December 5th – Spirit on the Square

More details will be shared as plans come together. We look forward to creating opportunities for connection, generosity, and community spirit throughout the year.
