TRICKED!!!
When Anne designed this bench and had it installed, I was pretty ill. She came home one morning and told me someone had written something about Patsy's at the lake splashpad! She drove me to the lake to show me! It took me a minute to notice the bench, because I was combing the concrete for chalk writing!! BACK THEN, I NEVER thought I would see the day that "Healthy Phil" would ever sit on this bench! Thank you, Father!!!!

To me, Patsy's was ALWAYS more than just a cool treat. While subbing at CHS this week, I ran into the mom of the young man, sitting on the table and playing guitar with me. She told me how he enjoyed that moment so much! I fought back the tears as I assured her that getting to pick with those young men for a few minutes meant a lot to this old man too!! It's moments like that that fill my memory bank of Patsy's days!!

This Facebook memory from Lisa and Karen that showed up yesterday reminds me just how powerful our Lord and love is!! So many of you created baskets, donated, prayed relentlessly, pitched in to assist in every way you could. And you ALL did it with humility!! You simply wanted to help! I honestly love each and every one of you! You each played a role in saving my life and I will never forget it!
