📢 Office Closed – Buckskin Horse Show Still On! 🐴

Please note that our office will be closed on Thursday October 2nd & Friday October 3rd, but the Buckskin Horse Show is still happening as scheduled! 🎉🐎

Ok it is time for some Trunk or Treat Details.

Location: Claremore Expo Center (See the Map for Parking)

Day: Friday October 24th. Parents with Children read this section

If you are a parent or guardian bringing kids to trunk or treat, please see the attached map for parking. The red area is off limits and is reserved for horse trailers. The green area is open to parent parking. The line will form as indicated on the map. There will be local businesses set up along the line area as well as access to portable bathrooms for everyone waiting. As you make your way to the entrance you will be greeted by Volunteers from Cedar Point Church. At the time your family will be assigned a route and goven a wrist band. The color of the band you are given will determine the route you will take once inside the Trunk or Treat area. If you end up inside the trunk or treat area without a Cedar point band you will be directed to the line so that you can get yours. We will have volunteers inside the parking lot to assist everyone and answer questions.

With two routes in the Trunk or Treat area we are hoping to move the line quicker so that everyone has the most fun possible. At the end of the Line Cedar Point will have a photo booth, Popcorn and refreshments for everyone.

Hot Rods Handing out Candy read this section:

If you are bringing a Hot Rod to hand out Candy, please be set up by 5:30. I will be at the parking lot from 12:00 noon on. If you have any questions, please Message me or find me at the Expo the Day of.

If you set up to hand out candy. You can not start or move your car until the event is over. No exceptions.

We are closed today, Monday September 1st for Labor Day. Offices will return to regular business hours on Tuesday!

Happy Labor Day Weekend from the City of Claremore!

In observance of the holiday, all City offices will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025. We will reopen and resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 2.

🚛 Refuse collection will not be affected — all routes will run as scheduled.

Please also note: this week’s City Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 2 at 6:00 p.m.
