It feels like almost yesterday that I had this “crazy idea” to put on an event to provide education and support to designers to our floral industry. This event was born out of necessity and has quickly grown globally. Over 7,000 attendees, 100+ educators, and resources galore…this summit has not only created impact but changed lives.😭

Hi! I'm Cristina and it's about time I hop in to give you an intro and update. If you're new around here, welcome! I am the face behind Posh Peony floral design where I have been designing weddings since 2005, serving 10 lucky couples each year to create memorable floral experiences for their wedding day. 💍⁣

I am also the founder of education where we have a thriving community of floral entrepreneurs around the world learning, grinding, and growing. It's seriously MY JAM and I am so lucky to be able to mix my love of teaching and floral design over there.🤓⁣

Besides what I do, I am a momma of 2 rambunctious little girls who are the apple of my eye, wife to super cool nerdy DJ who keeps me on my toes about the latest tech...He is still trying to convince me to try his Oculus..ehh maybe 🤷🏻‍♀️. And for those of you that don't know, I have been a school teacher for the past 16 years and LOVE every bit of it. Where does the time go?⁣

My goal this year is to show up more and not only share all things weddings, but also a little bit about ME and my life as a mother, educator, and all the things that fire me up in life. I also want to build more relationships and build connections. ⁣💛

My top 9 out of 15 total posts this year! 😂 I gotta say, that not showing up 3x per day like I thought I had to in the past, is a fresh breath of air! Maybe an unpopular opinion, but less is more in my book. MORE time to be present in what matters most. MORE time for self care. MORE time to work on relationships. MORE time to just be still. I don’t expect to change this next year, but you will find me in stories and reels more often. Cheers to the New Year! 🍾
