Show of the Year: Best in the Yard VI

In an event that not only served as a huge stage for everyone in Versus The World wrestling in previous years but for multiple promotions across the Eastern Seaboard including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Maryland, and The Carolinas. Best in the Yard has served as the measuring stick for where the best of the best come together and showcase what truly makes them the Best at what they do! At BITY VI it was no different as we saw many matches that served as 1st Time Ever matches but some that were the culmination of long standing rivalries, bitterly fueled overdue confrontations, and some would say impossible dream matches. Whether it was the long awaited battle of “The King of the Mountain” Nevon McDonald and Jacob Ryan, the awe inspiring and jaw dropping Dream Match of XSTATIC and Shawn Phoenix or even the brutality and violence of the Street Fight between Aaron Jones and Zakk Daniels there was not a moment to be overlooked at this event. And since it was voted so heavily by our VTW audience we have a special Announcement coming very soon… 😉

🏆 2025 VTW Awards 🏆

Match of the Year: “The Blaze” Ace Christian vs “UnRefined” Jacob Ryan at VTW Mania 2025

In a match that was completely unexpected for not only the VTW Fans but the two athletes themselves, what looked like on paper as a set of bad circumstances for both men turned into an opportunity to create magic on the Biggest Show of the Season. Both Ace Christian and Jacob Ryan had met each other before but not since 2023 in a Triple Threat Match that involved Zack Xander. Both men had evolved so much in the over two year period and after some verbal jousting an Impromptu 1 on 1 Classic had begun! These two both had a point to prove and wanted to work their way to being in Contention for the VTW World Championship. In the end the veteran savvy of Jacob Ryan was able to out maneuver Christian and pick up a huge win, but this contest could have truly gone either way! A Huge Congratulations to both of these Superstars and Perhaps we’ll see these two Superstars Run it back in 2026?
