Russell and I had the special privilege of seeing Dolly live at Ravinia in Chicago a number of years back. She was an ally, philanthropist, great songwriter, and quite frankly, just a kind person. In reverence, solace, and fond remembrance, as many places around the world are doing, DHG is lit in pink to share in the tribute for one of America’s finest. Dolly, you said “I will all ways love you”. Well, back at ya! Thank you Dolly!

Russell and I had the opportunity to visit another historic home that, like Doherty House, lends itself well to be shared with the community that loves it- Colvin House in Edgewater Chicago! Tonight was Los Perros Cubanos and a fun crowd! Wonderful home carefully looked after by her owner who graciously gave everyone in attendance a tour! From one old home to another- cheers and thank you for sharing this gem us!

Our friends at Elm Creek Lawn & Landscaping did a fantastic job refreshing our gardens, replacing stone, mulch, and cutting back plants. Looks wonderful! Highly recommend!

We were thrilled to host Mid Michigan College today for a fundraising event!

They are doing some great work to build education paths that serve all types of students with real-life skills that can drive careers for our community residents.
