So this is a long post, but so many people are calling and wanting to know how Mike my brother is doing. He was in a motorcycle accident on Sunday and airlifted to Ann Arbor. It has been and is going to continue to be a long journey.
Pray for Kim and Keiley Striker as they walk through this process with Mike. Please respect their privacy cards and prayers are greatly appreciated. Phone calls and text please limit we are all trying to keep people up to date, but things change quickly and so we are not always able to answer.
So as to where we are today and two surgeries they have set his nose and facial bones, set the arm and have set the pelvis. He has multiple broken ribs and vertebrae, but that is not on the top of the concern list yet. He had serious lower abdomen injuries and the main concern is infection. He is on a vent, but is awake and aware of everything and has been writing notes to Kim. He is in a good state of mind and knows he has a long recovery.
The hospital is asking to limit visitors to immediate family.
We love and appreciate every one of you and the prayers and support. For all the people that were at the scene of the accident and stepped up to help. It has meant a lot to our family to know that you are there for us. If you see mom and dad out and about give them a hug❤️❤️
