It was a beautiful, swoon worthy wedding with large pink cherry blossom trees, pink linens and the perfect amount of gold. The Sterling Castle outdid themselves once again!

The Avengers 💥

When the groom likes a complex design, but will settle for a stacked cake. Hell no! We’re going for that complex design cake! Structured cakes have become my favorite projects—bonus is I get to spend a little time with Dad in his shop building the supports.
We took the inspiration of a cake photo where Hulk is holding up the cake, and put our own twist on some of the design details. Thor is the groom’s favorite, so we wanted Mjolnir to be large on top.
Hulk’s arms/hands are sculpted Rice Krispies and modeling chocolate. Thor’s hammer is cake. Captain America’s shield is fondant. The Iron Man mask is fondant, and is backed with lights so his eyes glow.
