Today there is no left or right side. There is no division of color, s*x, or creed. There is no hate for our brothers and sisters in our hearts as we reflect on the tragedy our country faced that changed our nation in a matter of minutes. Still yourself for a moment. Reflect on the hero’s that day who gave their lives saving others. Reflect on the passengers on the planes and the victims in the towers and the pentagon. Remember their families in your prayers and thoughts throughout the day as they still mourn with a bitter reminder.
Remember our nation, while divisive and challenging at it’s worst, at it’s best, we are one people made up of many backgrounds who still live in the land of the free and the home of the brave. May God watch over us and give us strength in unity today.
