Full backdrop build, start to finish.
Black panels first, covering the whole frame. Then the arch gets shaped in the center, gathered at the top and swagged low so it pulls forward from the flat panel behind it. That center arch is what makes it a focal point instead of a black wall.
Terracotta goes on last, swagged across the top with long tails dropping down both sides to the floor. One accent color against black is enough.
Candles at the base of each tail, and a fog machine for the finish.
It works for more than Halloween. Moody weddings, gothic engagement shoots, dramatic sweet 16s, black tie birthday photo walls. Swap the terracotta for burgundy, gold, or ivory and it becomes a different setup entirely.
