Every drumbeat, every dance, every story we share is a celebration of culture and community. This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to stand with Bi-Okoto in sustaining the arts that connect generations and inspire joy.

Your gift isn’t about charity—it’s about impact. It ensures that classrooms, stages, and neighborhoods continue to experience African culture in motion.

When you give, you help us preserve heritage, empower youth, and bring communities together through the arts.

Make your Giving Tuesday gift here: https://www.bi-okoto.com/giving-tuesday-2025

Together, we keep the rhythm alive. Together, we make culture thrive.

Support culture. Support community. Support our children.

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO RAIN ⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️

If you’ve been watching what’s happening in Portland, with inflatable costumed protesters, and riding naked bike rides, you’ll see that this community has mastered practicing JOY as a form of resistance in a culture of Fear.

We’re not Portland, but we’re having our own JOY festival on Sunday down at the Court Street Plaza. Elementz youth center Cincinatti ohio will be there to lead folks in JOY writing, alongside Bi-Okoto who will be leading Dancing and Drumming experiences. We will begin with some Community Singing led by April Mann

The JOY begins at 3pm. It might be drizzly. So come prepared for some “singing in the rain”.

If it becomes a downpour we will reschedule.

Bi-Okoto strives to build character and community in it's summer campers. This spotlight is on Lillian who has attended several years of camp. And in 2025 she wants to give back by being a volunteer. She is a great role model for all the younger campers! Thank you Lillian!
