I just love how peaceful these shots of The Mississippi River feel to me. I snapped them last weekend while visiting home to celebrate the life of my Uncle Dave. As my single father’s identical twin, his role in my life (and creating Kintimit) was humongous.

Uncle Dave was an artist, author, lifelong history teacher, golf coach and second father to myself and many friends. The celebration was the perfect honor to him & his legacy. I’m proud I was able to organize it.

The Cottage will continue to be quiet through the end of April, although I’m available by telephone or messaging!

I will be excited to return to work full-steam in May, there’s so much happening upon my return and you’ll see our fantastic shop come back to life, right away!

Shop hours will continue to vary through April as I navigate to settling the home, I grew up in, multiple trips back-and-forth to Iowa and other of life’s little happenings!

Hi friends!

The Cottage will be closed this week while I return to Iowa, wrapping up details of the home I grew up in!

Thank you to everyone for the support, love, grace and patience through these last six months. Overall I am doing astonishingly well, as I am focusing on taking care of myself.

A new, restored focus for Kintimit is around the corner! I am excited for consistent hours and staff members!

With the sudden settling of my childhood home, the happenings around the shop will still be sporadic through the end of April!

I’m taking a personal day, y’all!

I just looked at my calendar & aside from having SO much to do, I don’t have anything on my schedule until tomorrow at noon!

After being in Iowa so much, I need a hundred days off at home! BUT I will be happy with just one! I have to unpack a lot of books, and rearrange some!

Don’t be afraid to message or call with a costume emergency, of course :):)

Hi friends 🙂 The Cottage will remain closed this week, as I stay in Iowa to settle the home of The Twins. It is a lot of work, however we have found laughs along the way and a lot of great memories. I am taking good care of myself through this and resting appropriately, so that when I return to work, it can be a wonderful spring!

Although there are some polishing details and kitchen shelves left to build, The Cottage is still full of great costumes! You can definitely host your party or take photos while the improvements wrap up!

Hours through February and March will be sporadic. Grand Opening May 1st!
