Happy wedding day to Olivia and Gavin 🤍

I’m running on 3 hours of sleep with a large coffee in hand this morning to go see my baby in the NICU before heading out to this wedding today… wish me luck! 😂 I may be tired, but so so excited for this wedding! And this weather? SO pumped about this cool weather for a wedding day for a change!

I’ve been absolutely terrible at keeping my photography page updated since I was hospitalized back in July… but for good reason.

On August 17, we welcomed our sweet little guy, Connor Jacob, at just 31 weeks gestation! He’s been hanging out in the NICU ever since, and let me tell ya… we are EXHAUSTED 😅 But our sweet boy is now a month old, thriving, and doing so well. We’re hoping to have him home with us sometime in the next month or so!

Connor surprised us with a cleft lip and palate at birth, which means he has a few extra challenges and requires some extra care — but it also makes him extra cute. 🥹

Between spending every evening at the NICU, working my regular 8–5 job part-time from home, and trying to keep up with everything else, life has been absolutely crazy lately. But we wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I’ve been incredibly lucky that I didn’t have any weddings during my unexpected hospital stay, and I officially have TWO upcoming weddings that I’ll be able to photograph! I’m SO excited to get back behind the camera, close out the year doing what I love, and then take a much-needed maternity leave to soak up all the newborn snuggles once this little babe finally comes home.

Thank you all SO much for being patient with me, especially with replies, editing, and scheduling sessions. Your understanding and support during this crazy season of life means more than you know.

Here’s to slowly finding our new normal — and hopefully bringing our sweet boy home soon! 🥹

I’ve been very quiet on my business page lately. For almost 6 weeks now, I’ve been in the hospital doing everything I can to keep my baby boy safe. My water unexpectedly broke at just 24 weeks, and since then, our entire world has looked a little different.

We’re taking things one day at a time and hoping to make it another 4 weeks before he decides it’s time to make his arrival. We know there will be some NICU time ahead of us, but every extra day he gets to grow and stay safe inside is a huge win.

Because of all of this, things on the photography side of life have been moving a little slower than normal. I have one wedding left to finish editing, and my goal is to have it completed this week. Thank you so much to the couples who have been patient and understanding with me while I navigate all of this.

And to my October brides — I know we discussed the possibility of me not being able to attend your wedding months ago, as I was already considered a high-risk pregnancy from the beginning. I’ll be reaching out to you all soon to talk through everything further and make sure you feel completely comfortable with the plan moving forward. I have wonderful, trusted photographers lined up who can step in if needed, and my goal is to make sure your wedding day goes on without a hitch, regardless of whether I’m able to be there myself.

Stepping back from photography temporarily has been difficult. But right now, my biggest job is keeping this little boy safe and getting him as close to full-term as we can. 💙

Some wedding days are beautiful because everything goes according to plan. Dylan and Gracie's was beautiful because it didn't.

Surrounded by family and friends at Gracie's family farm, they said "I do" in a place filled with memories and the people who matter most. As the evening went on, the rain started falling during the first dances, and before long it turned into a complete downpour right in the middle of the dance floor. But nobody ran—everyone embraced it. Shoes were soaked, dresses were dripping, and the dance floor somehow became even more alive. I've never seen anything like it at a wedding before! We ended the night with the perfect double rainbow! 🌈🌧

Carly & Kevin's wedding day was an absolute dream! 🌸✨

From the gorgeous spring colors to all of the thoughtful little details, every part of the day was so perfectly them. There was so much love, so much laughter, and honestly just the best atmosphere from start to finish.

This day was extra special for me because over the years I've had the chance to photograph Carly's sister's wedding, her dad's wedding, and now hers! Getting to watch and document so many milestones for the same family is one of the coolest parts of what I do, and it makes wedding days like this feel a little more like celebrating with friends.

What a beautiful day celebrating these two. 🤍

Watching Meggie marry her best friend was such a special experience. Having grown up with her, it meant so much to not only be a part of this day, but to spend time with her, her family, and so many familiar faces who have loved and supported her through every season of life.

From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect—the weather, the happy tears, the laughter, and the overwhelming amount of love surrounding Meggie and Joey. These two are truly meant for each other, and it was such an honor to capture the beginning of this next chapter together.

It’s wedding day for Meggie and Joey! 🥂

There for a sec I thought I wasn’t going to make it to this one 😅 Baby boy decided to give us a scare this week when we went in for our anatomy scan and we were told I had low amniotic fluid. This led to an overnight stay for monitoring and I was discharged yesterday afternoon after the fluid went up, thankfully! I might be a little slow moving today after all the exams and being exhausted from being in the hospital, but I’m so thankful I was able to make it for today. I did NOT want to miss my childhood friends wedding, so I am so thankful I got a clean bill of health to make it work.

My babies love to scare their mama ALWAYS before a wedding 😂

You may have already seen this shared on my personal page, but for those of you who may not know… we’re expecting another baby boy 🤍

After walking through infertility, the heartbreaking loss of our first son, and more waiting and uncertainty, this pregnancy feels like such a gift. For those who may not know our story, our firstborn son, Colton, was born prematurely at 27 weeks and only lived for 11 precious days. We are incredibly grateful for this second chance at parenthood and don’t take a single moment for granted.

Our hearts hold both joy and grief at the same time. We are so excited to meet this precious little boy this October, while always carrying and honoring his big brother, Colton, who made us parents first and will forever be part of our story.

My current 2026 couples are already aware, but as many of you know, this pregnancy is considered high risk, so there are still a lot of unknowns as we head into wedding season. While I am hopeful and planning for a full season, there is a possibility that this pregnancy could impact late summer and fall weddings if any complications arise.

I am beyond thankful for the most understanding, supportive clients as we navigate this season—it truly means more than I can put into words. 🤍

We would love your prayers as we continue this journey—for strength, comfort, and a healthy, full-term baby boy.
