🌈 This rainbow wreath gives me LIFE! Every time I finish one, it still feels like the very first—and it reminds me why I love what I do so much it could bring me to happy tears. 🥹

Take a moment for yourself—do something that makes your heart happy ✨—and do something kind for another person or Mother Nature. This wreath went out to lift someone’s spirits, and the kindness in that moment ripples farther than we can see. Imagine all the ripples we could create! 🤗

This is me now. Flower Farmer. Florist. Wreath Maker. Educator. Small business owner.

But swipe over… because this is where it really started.

Just a little girl being posed with her mom in front of her mom’s garden — right where my love of gardening and nature first took root.

Smelling them. Picking them. Admiring them.
Learning to appreciate nature’s beauty long before I knew this could ever be a career.

When I asked my mom and dad to help me find these photos yesterday, I couldn’t believe how many pictures there were of them with flowers too. And my grandparents — my Oma and Opa — whose gardens I still remember so clearly: the smell of lavender, the crunch of a fresh snow pea, and the big bumble bees slowly making their way from blossom to blossom.

Turns out… the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. 🌸

It took me time to figure out my course. There were other jobs. Other chapters. Other lessons.

But the love?
It started here. And maybe even a generation before me.

So when you choose to order from me instead of popping into Kroger or running through Trader Joe’s for a quick bouquet, I want you to think of her.

The little girl who just loved flowers.
The parents who passed that love of nature down.
The dream that quietly stayed the whole time.

When you shop small, you’re not just buying flowers.
You’re choosing a story. You’re choosing legacy. You’re choosing heart.

And I will never take that lightly.

Happy Valentine’s Day! 💐

We met in college when I was 20.
Our very first Valentine’s Day was in 2005.

This year we celebrated by making each other cards and buying each other a few treasures at the local antique mall.

The City of Cincinnati recently awarded funding to 48 organizations Seeds of Change Urban Agriculture mini-grants to support urban agriculture in fiscal year 2026. These entities are agricultural production and growing sites as well as local food aggregation & distribution sites. Local food production and distribution plays an important role in addressing health, social, economic and environmental issues. This GCP Seeds of Change Urban Agriculture funding supports growers and distributors within the City and several food and waste goals within the Green Cincinnati Plan. In the middle of this busy Valentine’s week, I wanted to pause and share a little love from a beautiful wedding I had the honor of flowering this past November. 🤍

Planning alongside these two and .l was truly a dream — thoughtful ideas, a stunning venue, and so much genuine love between them (and their dog and their cat made their way down the aisle, who made the day even more special). It was one of those celebrations you could feel in every detail, and I’m so grateful I got to be a small part of it.

Fun little full-circle moment: the bride is actually how I met them. She cared for my sweet boy Yogi when he was going through his eye problems near the end of his time with us. That kindness meant so much to me, and it made being part of their wedding feel extra special. 🦊

Chelsea and Justin’s fall wedding was everything—artistic, eclectic, bursting with wildflowers! I loved the incredible “transparent overlapping color” vision they designed, like stained glass come to life. Chelsea hand made fabric flowers that were woven throughout, and the whole day just glowed.

What made this one extra special? Chelsea and Justin are fellow teachers at the school where I teach flower farming and floristry, and I turned their wedding into a mini lesson. My students (and theirs) learned how to string the marigolds that hung on the door. Honestly, I knew it would be a good lesson but I didn’t expect how much my heart would swell watching them take such pride in their work. When I showed them these photos, their faces lit up.

Picture this 🫶 It’s February 3rd, you’re at Sonder Brewing with your best people, and you’re about to create something that’s so special.

I’m teaming up with my friend Alison from for what might be my favorite collaboration yet — Bloom + Blend!

Here’s what we’re doing: You’ll design a gorgeous 6-8” dried floral heart wreath. Then, you’ll work with Alison to create your own signature rollerball perfume.

This isn’t just a workshop. It’s an evening where you get to slow down, play with beautiful things, and walk away with creations from two small business women that are uniquely yours. Whether you are on a date or bring your crew, it’s the kind of night that fills your cup. 💝

Growing flowers is kindness.

A decade of dirt under my nails taught me:
Connect with nature. Be its cheerleader. Give it space to show what it does best.

Grow flowers that make people pause. Build gardens that bring neighbors together. Show yourself you can follow your passion without losing yourself.

Working on so much for 2026. First up? Teaching at Cincinnati State Community College. Dreams coming to fruition over here.
