Spring flowers may be gone, but their beauty is not forgotten. As I sit here editing this silly reel I feel nothing but overwhelming gratitude.. April and May are always a mad dash! So many moving parts and soooo so many flowers! I truly find myself at a bit of a loss for words, we have been doing this flower thing for a while now, and that fact that people continually show up, support us and give love to themselves and their community through flowers is just delightful. It gives me a drop of hope for humanity! Small businesses, acts of kindness, tending to the earth, supporting artists, witnessing beauty- these are the morsels of our lived experience that keep my faith in humans alive.
Thanks for being here, love you- MEAN IT!

Can we have a moment of silence for the Iris’, please!?
Yes, they are indeed that special. A long living perennial plant, but a short bloom window for their flowers. Maybe their ephemeral nature is what makes them so special, maybe their sweet scent, it could be their frilly petals or that they come in every shade of the rainbow. Whatever is it, these Iris’ have me tearing up everytime I see a new one bloom. At what point are you considered a collector? Cause I have well over 50 varieties now.. which color is your favorite?

In honor of National CSA (community supported agriculture) week I’d love to tell you a bit about our offerings and how things are changing over at Lore Floral. Over the last 8 year our business has mostly been built on wedding work and private events- and we have loved serving our community in this way. I think love is literally the purpose of life, so being a part of life’s most sacred moments has filled my heart to the brim.. but as life has changed and the industry as well, we’ve decided to really cut back on our wedding work. We are focusing more on growing and tending to the earth. With that in mind we are expanding our ‘bouquet clubs’ aka weekly or monthly flower subscriptions! From the months of November to March our farm makes basically zero dollars- no flowers, no cash! So, Bouquet Club sign ups are vitally important! They help buy supplies for the coming growing season and feed our family. Currently we have a few spots left in both of our clubs, check the link in our bio to learn more!
