We love working with unique venues! The Newport Car Barn provides a space unlike any other in Cincinnati. The 1899 Greenline Car Barn has been renovated to bring historic charm to modern events. This couple renovates historic buildings, and so they were drawn to the NCB's architecture and charm. White garden florals complimented the historic brick perfectly. Alongside the Newport Car Barn's built-in drapery, the couple also incorporated eight different hanging floral elements and chandeliers to fill the vast ceiling space to make the reception more intimate. A wonderful space for a beautiful couple!

A local summer staple! Sunflowers are native to North America and were grown by Indigenous people over 4,500 years ago. They have a unique behavior in their early growing stage, called heliotropism, where their face is angled at the sun at all times. The buds rotate from east to west as the day continues. The tallest recorded sunflower was over 35 ft tall in Indiana. A sunflower provides warm bright energy into arrangements and gives us a sense of summer nostalgia anytime we work with them! We source our Sunflowers from Little Creek Valley Flower Farm and they are available early July to mid fall.

Need help bringing your wedding vision to life? Let us take some of your to-do list! Robin Wood Flowers' Full Wedding Design includes Floral design and coordinating with vendors for: table top rentals, linens, lighting, and draping!

Our full design for J+L on their special day included climbing florals up the stairs and columns to create a grand entrance to St. Stephen Church. Their seating chart bloomed out of our Chinoiserie vases, with the help of mock orange for shaping and depth. Low lush centerpieces featured soft shades of blue alongside fluffy white peonies, paired with the embroidered linens, rattan charger and light blue linen napkin seamlessly. Their design looked organic while being perfectly planned out. Blending modern taste with the traditions of Cincinnati Country Club.

Your special day can have it all! This extravagant wedding had wow moments throughout the entire design. A floral tunnel transported guests into their pastel rainbow wonderland. Florals suspended in ice added an element of wonder during cocktail hour. Live tree centerpieces added texture and height inside the French Art Deco Ballroom. A hanging bubble tea light installation over the bridal table brought intentional focus to the couple amongst the lofty tree-lined venue.

One of the stars of the buttercup flower family! Delphinium adds height without weighing down an arrangement. At their tallest, Delphinium can grow up to 6 feet.

The hybrid variety, which we commonly use in wedding design, is bred for larger and stronger stems with a more condensed fuller set of blooms. They come in blue, pink, light purple and white!

Delphinium are associated colloquially with joy, dignity, goodwill and having an open heart. Their name comes from the greek word delphis, meaning dolphin, named after the similar shape of dolphins rostrums to unopened buds.

Welcoming your guests to a space that feels true to you is an intimate way to invite your loved ones to be a part of your special day.

This couple loved hiking and the outdoors and wanted to bring that with them on their wedding day. They designed the Queen City Club to fit their dreams. A lush hallway of greenery complete with forest sounds and a wooden boardwalk welcomed guests into their bright and blooming ceremony space.

Just a short walk down the road, the Vista at Lytle Park Hotel was elevated with stretching centerpieces, elegant flowers spread across high beams and florals thoughtfully tucked into every corner for their cozy garden rooftop reception. The Vista provided a perfect space for them, allowing their guests fresh air and a beautiful view of downtown. Complete with a firework finish to top off the night!

A summer garden flower favorite! Zinnias are a perky, informal naturally beautiful flower. With their versatile range of colors and sizes, they shine in all types of arrangements! Zinnias reseed every year and attract many types of Butterfly and Hummingbird species. They are sturdy and considerably easy to grow. They've even successfully been grown on the International Space Station! We source our Zinnias from our local farm partner, Little Creek Valley Flower Farm, and get new Zinnias every week from late summer into the fall.
