🇺🇦 𝐖𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐓𝐎 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄 !
- that, after completing all required paperwork and having conducted necessary business operations and financial transactions, finally all selected organizations in Ukraine received their financial assistance and we already have their reports !
The funds we raised at the festival were decided to be allocated to three critical organizations making an impact on Ukrainian soil:

💛 $5,100 to 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 for tactical medical supplies vital to preserving the lives of military personnel in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.
💙$10,800 to "𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞" for protective anti-missile "domes" for radio electronic warfare systems.
💛 $13,460 to 𝐔𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐔𝐀 for equipment supporting nighttime rescue operations in the Zaporizhzhia region.

🗓️ A month has passed since our Ukrainian festival back in August, during which time we have been summarizing the results, settling accounts with vendors, and repaying debts. It has been truly a huge undertaking - from organizing to distributing the funds, but -

🤩 We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to the incredible support of everyone who attended the Festival, we raised almost 💵 $32K 💵 ! Whether you enjoyed delicious foods and drinks, purchased souvenirs and raffle baskets, or participated in master classes, every contribution helped make this possible.

💰Through the festival's official channel we have received several requests from contacts and organizations in Ukraine, asking for help with vital items, from tactical medical supplies to protective devices and equipment. All requests were thoroughly reviewed and discussed by the organizing committee. Following a vote, three recipients have been selected to receive financial assistance. The funds are currently in the process of being transferred, and we will provide a detailed report on each recipient in the near future.

Dear all,

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in organizing the Cincinnati Ukrainian Festival and to the visitors who contributed donations for Ukraine (a report on the final donation amount will be provided later).

First, we want to thank all the volunteers who have devoted their time for the third consecutive year. From kitchen work to cleaning, master classes, activities, and entertainment—imagine, all these aspects of organization were done entirely by volunteers! We are truly fortunate to have such an amazing community in Cincinnati.

You might be wondering why the festival page has been quiet since the event last Saturday. It's simply because all the volunteers who participated are still recovering from the overwhelming experience and exhaustion. 🙂

It was such a beautiful event in our eyes, and we hope you really enjoyed it.

We want to feature the local dancing troupes, Kalyna and Zabava, that will take part in the musical program at the Cincinnati Ukrainian Festival!

Kalyna was founded right after the war started in February 2022, consisting only of volunteers, under the choreography of professional dancer Olga Kohanovsky from Ukraine.
"Kalyna" refers to the viburnum bush, known for its bright red berries. In Ukrainian culture, it symbolizes beauty, strength, and national pride, often featured in folklore and traditional songs.

Zabava was established in 2014 by the late Shoto, a recognized dancer from Georgia. We are deeply sorry he is no longer with us, but we are glad that the volunteer dancers continue to perform in his memory!
Zabava means "party" or "celebration" in Ukrainian, capturing the spirit of joy and communal festivity.
