I'm having a hard time expressing my gratitude to you all!! The Motown show we put on was amazing!!! I did not expect perfection... but what I received was... GREATNESS!! That's all I asked for!! We skipped, jumped, omitted and adlibed in places... on the SPOT!! That's called "Professionalism"!! Thank you ALL FOR THAT!!!
Aretha Chapman, my sangin' sister!! You handled the task given to you as if you came up with the idea yourself!! You understood the assignment!!! Thank youso much!!
Mike Cobb.. MC the MD!! How your mind connects songs that wouldn't even be played by the same DJ in the same set, just astounds me!! Thank you SO MUCH for your relentless on medleys, documents, transitions, endings, constantly morphing each song or medley as we were rehearsing them... etc, etc, etc!!! Bro.. you know how to not just have a concert, but you create PRODUCTIONS!! Thank you for sharing your vision(s) with us!!
Horns - the addition of you all made the Motown sound - whole!! Couldn't have done it without you, collectively AND individually!! Every accent, every solo every note... PERIOD!!! Thank you so much!
Band(Fellas)... I mean what can I say!! Way to bob and weave as we went through this!! Y'all did more than pull a rabbit out of your hats, but you all lifted this show to a MUCH higher level of Motown authenticity!! Thank you for following as we navigated through hit after Motown hit!!! BRAVO!!!
To my front folks, the vocalists.. what can I say?! You all delivered!! Whether it was the fun banter between us, superb vocalizations, dance moves that were nothing short of phenomenal or making sure that the crowd was involved... you all BROUGHT IT last night!! My heart couldn't be more full!! You all lifted me up last night!! ❤️❤️
BossLady, your tireless work behind the scenes does not go unnoticed!! From promoting, to emailing and texting pertinent information, to setting up rehearsal spots and times, to providing cold beverages during rehearsals for everyone... we couldn't do what we do without you doing ALL that you do!! Thank you so much!!
Thank you to Ian, Mark, Trey and all of the Fitton Center crew!! Y'all bent over backwards to ensure that we had any and everything that we needed before, during AND after the show!! Can't wait until we are able to grace that stage again.
To the family of everyone involved in this production, I, Just Vince, want to personally thank you for loaning your talented person to us... long rehearsals, time spent away from family to do music study and practice songs. It is a sacrifice.. and I hope you were able to see/experience the fruits of their labor!! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!
