Our Chew Crew will be out helping the Zoo with these events through September 6th. They are increasing the hours and dates due to all the feedback. Hope to see you there!

Thanks to the incredible excitement around Dinos After Dark and the valuable feedback from our guests, we're adding more nights — plus more time to explore, with hours now running 6PM to 11PM.

We're also opening up more zoo grounds, improving pathways, and adding a new guest exit to make each night flow even better.

Join us on select weekends, now through September 6, for even more prehistoric fun!

When the sun goes down, the dinosaurs come alive! Join us Friday, July 24, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. for Dinos After Dark, a FREE after hours event exclusively for Members.

Explore Zoorassic Park with glowing dinosaurs, colorful lights, fog filled pathways, live entertainment, photo opportunities, and a dinosaur themed giveaway while supplies last.

Not a Member yet? Become a Member today on our website to join the prehistoric fun! An active Membership and ZooBand are required for entry.

✅ Get your FREE ZooBand any time you visit at our Guest Services Office. ZooBand registration will also be available the night of the event.

Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States at San Antonio Zoo with Locals Day USA, Presented by Community Health Plans!

On the 4th of July, all guests can enjoy $8 admission for a special holiday visit filled with family fun, wildlife, and patriotic memories.

9:00 am: FREE Toy Dinosaur for the first 250 Children! The first 250 children who enter San Antonio Zoo on this special day receive a toy dinosaur!

10:00 am - 2:00 pm: Jurassic S.A. Dinosaur Experience brings life-like dinosaurs and interactive entertainment to San Antonio Zoo on this special day. Guests can experience exciting live dinosaur encounters, immersive photo opportunities, and unforgettable family fun at Zoorassic Park, presented by Bank of Texas. Included with zoo admission.

ALL DAY: Enjoy a full schedule of Red, White, & Blue Enrichment throughout San Antonio Zoo all day. Animal Encounters themed to the holiday, provide a unique way for guests to view the zoo residents as they partake in one-of-a-kind enrichment activities within their habitats.
