So, we experienced our first, “Order Gather Site” order. What that is, someone on a web site claiming to be a florist, taking an order, then trying to pass it on to another shop in the area the customer wants to send flowers to for any occasion. They charge them quite a bit. The woman slipped up during our conversation and asked for a $135.00 order to be filled. But then she corrected me and said, “I mean, $35.00. Along with not only wanting to spend $35.00 of the $135.00 she took from the customer she had a long list of flowers she wanted in this $35.00 arrangement. 😂😂😂😂 Yeahhhh NO!!! Then argued because I told them it was not by any means possible. I mean economically no way possible. They took this person for that kind of money!
Every florist should turn down these type of orders! They will put you out of business and the customer thinks they are getting a certain arrangement but are not. They put all the burden on you for the subpar arrangement all the while it is out of their hands when they pass it off to you.
