This past week, I had the privilege of using this platform for my favorite thing—spreading kindness and giving back. We had the opportunity of opening the doors of many schools to express what a salute alone cannot — thank you. As a fellow veteran, I felt every handshake, every quiet story, and every family member who gave of themselves so we could answer the call.

Hundreds of families gathered to feast together and honor those who continue to wear the uniform each day, remember those who never returned, and uplift the spouses, parents, and children who share in this journey. Sponsoring and hosting these events felt like coming home: raw, humbling, and filled with gratitude.

To my brothers and sisters in service — your courage is recognized, your sacrifices are shared, and it was my true honor to celebrate you and your families this past week.

Happy Veterans Day to those who choose courage every morning. Thank you for carrying the hardest decision.
