Kindness brought me to tears so many times yesterday. Many of you know that it’s been a difficult summer for me personally- although a beautiful and fun summer. This birthday, I left work exhausted but with my heart full. Those of you that stopped by or sent treats, squeezed my hand, took photos with me, gave big hugs- so meaningful to me. My family were rockstars helping all day. Then I left work an hour after close because you guys are amazing and keep us crazy busy. A lovely woman approached me and let me know how much the community appreciates us being there and that everyone is rooting for me….tears. Then we went to an incredible meal where I was surprised with my kids all being there! At the end of the meal, we bawl because a dear friend and her daughter paid for our meal. Then I cried all the way home, happy tears of thankfulness for so many amazing and beautiful people in my life. People are good.
