Love it when the moms and girls send me pictures.
Just a few from last weekend and this past weekend.
Long post below but it’s so full of gratitude!
Yesterday was honestly crazy for us. Between 5 schools having homecoming who placed orders with us, and a wedding to design. I probably said yes to, too many Hoco orders. I am a one person shop and what I mean by that is All the design work is done by me.
But I’m not a one person business. We are a family business. And I couldn’t have managed this past weekend without my husband and kids. I was up at 4am designing 3 days in a row and working straight through until 10pm. That would not have been possible, if last October my husband wouldn’t have looked at me and said, time to leave your job in education and work the flower business full time. ❤️. You had faith in me, that I never seem to have in myself.
Friday night my daughter in law came over after her teaching job, and helped tie a crazy amount of ribbon , label orders, and organize my chaotic mess. We were up at 5 Saturday morning, finishing ground arrangements for the wedding and preparing my husband and kids for the Hoco pickups from 8:30-11:30. While my DIL and I drove to Columbus to deliver and setup wedding florals.
Violet, my youngest daughter, greeted every person picking up while the boys found the orders by name.
I had one error yesterday, I forgot to make a boutonniere for one of my Hoco’s. I felt terrible. Got home in time before that couples pictures started, quickly made a matching bout and sent my older son to meet a dad to deliver.
I can’t thank my family enough for all their love and support even when I’m stressed trying to make each and every design exactly what my girls are hoping for. And I can’t thank all of you enough for trusting me with your most precious memories! I have tears while I type this. Tears of gratitude and so much thankfulness. 💕💕
