Sometimes you don’t need to change the environment. You need to change your response to it.

Protecting your peace starts with recognizing when the people, conversations, habits, and situations around you are affecting your spirit. Everything doesn’t deserve your reaction, your explanation, or your energy.

And when something repeatedly disrupts your peace, you have a choice. You can keep trying to change the situation, or you can change your proximity to it.

Change the people, not the vibe.

Protect your energy. Protect your peace. Protect the version of you that you’ve worked so hard to become.

Not everything needs to be confronted. Some things simply need to be released.

It's nice to be appreciated. I'm thankful for the the people that are in my life!
