I don’t know who needs to hear this, and I have no desire to sit and accuse people. But ever since WreckCreations opened there has been illegal dumping in our dumpsters. I have been accused of overfilling the dumpster so that our current businesses that share the building with us won’t have access to the dumpster that we rent. Then the dumpsters were held back from me because I was accused of abusing my privilege and not letting the people who share the building with me dump in there. That being taken away cost me hundreds of dollars now that I have my own dumpster, I see that it’s filled to the brim with stuff that isn’t mine and stuff that isn’t from the businesses that I share space with. llegal dumping is a problem. It is legitimately utility theft you are stealing from me and other people who I care to take care of. If you are a small business that’s dumping at the bank building you’ll need to stop because now we’re in a position where we’re paying for a utility that somebody else is using. We can’t even use the utility that we pay for. Please stop doing this whoever you are stop. It’s unkind and it’s putting a small business in a bad spot that only wishes to love and serve this community with it’s whole heart. I forgive you but seriously cut it out.

We aren’t perfect but we are real. I didn’t take this on knowing what I was doing but I did take it on with determination against all blaringgly obvious odds. I fail and succeed a little bit more every week. I embrace the struggle and wrestle with the doubt and disappointments for a reason. This was more to me than a cool way to own a business. It was something I felt the world needed. It’s a place of permission to be a mess and still be received with love. I’ve seen everything from tears of grief with our customers to uncontrolable laughter. This place is meant to be an escape from the pressures of the world that wants us to have it all together by standards that are unforgivably dynamic. I don’t have It all together. You don’t have it all together. That’s a beautiful reality to share in. Release it all here and embrace the chaos of the human experience. My team and I are working hard to give this community that safe space in a bigger and better way. I feel deeply compelled to forge a wide path in the world for others to express themselves genuinely without shame. No more shame and no more chasing after fitting into a mold that’s simply not human-shaped. Let’s be honest and open and transparent with one another. Then and only then, can we truly connect with each other to live fully. Celebrate the build with us and the transition into everything I know this can be. Today we accomplished a deep clean and, good heavens, moving so much stuff, my muscles and my helper’s muscles are trying to give out underneath us. We do this because that’s what love does. Thank you for tuning in on our journey. Even the humble parts are poetic 🙏

Remi is hard at work helping with the new build ♥️ I think it’s about time we announce that WreckCreations is moving!!! We are still serving Chillicothe and can’t wait to expand what we do!!! We will be operating out of our Original business location until October 1st. Stay tuned for progress and the big open day.
