Happy summer to all of my wonderful clients! The Red wagon will go on!
As most of you are aware, I recently moved out of state with my family. One of the hardest parts about leaving has been knowing how deeply I am going to miss Red wagon and all the friends I have made over the years of teaching the kids. Sadly, because of the Covid situation I was not able to properly say goodbye to everyone which literally broke my heart.
I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your outpouring of love and support over the years. I cling to all the happy memories we made together. I hope you will stay in touch and that maybe our paths will cross again one day.
Now for the good news! The Red Wagon will continue services in Chico to our community starting in June! (Same location behind Neighborhood church on Notre Dame Blvd.)
Several of my students took classes last summer with Holly Shippen. She is an amazing instructor that comes to us with a wealth of passion and teaching experience. Holly has worked in the school district for years and has also taught a variety of sewing and art lessons. She is a very talented seamstress that has completed several college courses in fashion design and other sewing related specialties. Holly is a mother of two children and has been in the community for many years with her husband who also works locally. Please help welcome her into her position as the new owner of Red wagon! She will be posting class information and details soon!
If you have a small group of kids (Siblings or friends) that have special sewing or art class requests, please let us know and we can try to accommodate that!
I will continue teaching classes in Arizona and if you want to follow me on facebook, I would love to stay in touch that way! If you are ever visiting my new neck of the woods, come join one of my classes! My page is under construction, but you can begin following now: www.facebook.com/thecountrycactus2020 🌵
