Would you believe me if I told you this was Statice? Most commonly found in bright summer tones, this muted version was one of my favorite new varieties of the season! Growing flowers in colors that are outside the “norm” is totally my jam!

Instagram doesn’t show the full story. Here’s five facts you may not know about me:

1- I danced for nearly 16 years and was on dance team. I did hip hop, tap, pointe ballet, Hawaiian and even belly dancing! If you see me dancing around my house…no you didn’t ;)

2- I’m quite introverted! I really enjoy one on one conversation and getting to know people on a more personal level. Of course a fun night out with a group of friends is a blast!! I’ll just need at least 24 hours to recover and recharge haha.

3- The people who are closest to me know that I can thrive in chaos. I mean isn’t that what parenting is anyways?! As long as there’s a little bit of organization behind the madness it doesn’t phase me too much.

4- (This one’s vulnerable) I’m an enneagram 9 so avoiding conflict is naturally my thing. Starting up my own business felt like a huge mountain and way out of my comfort zone, even though I’ve always dreamt of being a business owner. I’ve come really far in the last couple years as I’ve leaned into it and taken more risks than ever before!

5- My family often tells me they don’t know how I do it all…raising kids, chickens, gardening, working, taking care of a home. You know keeping up on all the things. In all honesty, it’s one big hot mess lol! This is just the season of parenting life I’m in. Although, I can fit a lot into each day!

Getting to do wedding and event florals is such an honor. My hope is that you to feel like you’ve known me for years and are comfortable enough to trust me with such an important life event!

Hello! For all the new faces around here I wanted to do a little introduction. I’m Kaitlyn and this is my little family. I was born and raised in Paradise, CA. Before I had my beautiful babies I worked as a florist at my best friend’s flower shop and let me tell you it was the best job I’ve ever had! When I was young I always said I wanted to be an Interior Designer or a Florist when I grew up. I put a pause on my career to stay home and raise my babies (forever grateful for that opportunity!) and made a promise to myself that one day I would get back into the flower world…when the timing felt right of course! Fast forward to now and I’m living out that exact promise (I also do home staging for a local company in town! Yay to living out all my wildest dreams!). I’m a creative at heart.

In case you’re wondering what it is exactly I do and offer, well here ya go! I have a boutique flower farm on our 1 acre property in North Chico. I grow specialty flowers in wedding geared color palettes (think garden roses & dahlias in soft & unique color tones). I took the Workshop back in 2021 and haven’t stopped learning about flower farming ever since!

My design style is very much garden inspired, full of movement & texture. I love having access to hard to find blooms right at my finger tips, all while teaching my young boys about Mother Nature and how to garden! I offer wedding and event floral design throughout Northern California and recently started doing pop up shops around town (find me on Mother’s Day at Meriam Park and come say hi!).

In my free time (is that even a thing when you’re a parent 😉?!) I enjoy gardening, dreaming up renovation plans with my hubby, fixing up our property together and enjoying family time at home.

Join us on Mother’s Day May 12th from 12pm-4pm and build your own bouquet 🌸🌿🌷💐🌻!! We’ll have a flower bar set up with specialty blooms in all the pretty colors!! Located at The Barn in Meriam Park Chico, CA. Come spend the afternoon shopping local vendors while enjoying live music, concessions, a lovely atmosphere and so much more! Will I see you there?!

I’m over the moon thankful for all the help and support from friends and family (you know who you are ;) who helped me and encouraged me to dip my toes into the world of pop-up markets. I must say they are really fun! If you didn’t make it out to the Orland market, you’re still in luck because we’ll be in Chico at on Mother’s Day with a REAL special treat for all you flower lovers!!
