To my fellow decorators… Don’t get discouraged. 💛
Last year I decorated over 20 prom sendoffs and was stressed to the MAX. I even said I wasn’t doing Prom season ever again…
But instead of quitting, I changed the strategy and so far… NO EXTRA STRESS. 🙌🏽
Now don’t get me wrong — I still deal with normal day-to-day decorating issues because that comes with the business. But I’m no longer overwhelmed trying to do everything for everybody.

Here’s the strategy that’s helping me survive prom season:
✔️ Two prom setups per day
✔️ One prom setup at a home
(If outdoors, a Plan B is a MUST)
✔️ One prom setup at a venue
✔️ Cookie cutter packages
✔️ Clear boundaries with clients
✔️ No over-customizing every single setup
Come up with a plan that works for you

And let me say this:
STOP letting Prom Moms stress you out.

The moment a client starts draining your peace, questioning everything, or creating chaos… FIRE THEM professionally. Every booking is not worth your sanity.
Prom season can make great money, but not at the expense of your mental health, sleep, and family time.
Work smarter. Protect your peace. Keep your systems in place.
Boundaries are part of being a business owner too.
