If you're going to come to Chicago, and do something Chicago-y, you'll know we don't actually eat deep dish pizza. Instead we eat our overloaded hotdog with a Chicago Handshake. Old Style and Malort.

CH Distillery in Chicago. Home of the infamous Malort.
Carbon Hydrogen - They are the fourth owner and are dedicated to keeping their Malort exactly as it is.

On the bottom of the bottles are initials of the owners. CJ = Charles Jeppson. Look for the others!

The wormwood is imported from Europe. Right now from Ukraine but they've also used other countries. Explains if it tastes a little different.

No one knows the origin of the relationship with Old Style (to make a Chicago Handshake).

Malort came about during prohibition and was sold illegally (LoL still is!)

Today I tried unfiltered fresh of the press!!! Almost a wine taste then two seconds before it morphs to Malort and sour tang.

Malort means wormwood in Swedish.

I tried their chilli mole vodka and if you can find it, get it!!!

So my darling friend managed to obtain these stickers and naturally I'm trying to find the most inappropriate places to stick them. So far, I've stuck one on a fire extinguisher, a pool cue and a cup of darts. I was tempted to stick one on a ketchup dispenser at a fast food joint yesterday, but I was warned it was probably not a good idea whilst chaperoning an elementary school field trip. Yes, it's America. We reward excellence in sports by feeding children fried chicken. Makes sense.
