Join Eta Creative Arts Foundation at a summer fundraiser and sneak peak of the upcoming production “Mop and Bucket Blues.”

The Juke Joint: Before the Bite is an immersive 1940s-themed experience inspired by the movie Sinners. Held inside eta’s gallery & theater space, the event opens with a sneak peek of the upcoming stage play “Mop & Bucket Blues”, followed by a sultry, southern-style afterparty in a transformed juke joint atmosphere.

Expect live music, vintage fashion, catfish on wax paper, drinks in mason jars, and a room full of storytelling, soul, and support for local theater.

Before the bite…came the blues.

Featured performances by the cast of “Mop and Bucket Blues,” Fernado Jones and his band, and Shirley Gore.

Your best 1940s attire is required. Best dressed will be featured on eta’s website.

Join us Sunday, June 8, 2025 for a Stop the Violence: Gospel Choir Concert.

Roseland Ceasefire Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to violence prevention through community engagement, education, and advocacy. They host events that promote peace, provide resources and empower individuals to create safer neighborhood. Their mission is to break the cycle of violence and build a stronger, united community.

eta's 200 seat-theater and gallery space serves as a cultural meeting place that brings people together to appreciate, celebrate, and engage with the performing arts, and we are exited to offer and promote family-focused events to members of the community.

Eta has an amazing set of instructors dedicated to arts education and ready to train and mentor your children this summer!
