Cancer has touched my family more times than I wish it had.

My mom is a 2x breast cancer survivor and a 1x ovarian cancer survivor. I lost my grandfather to cancer, and a very close uncle is currently fighting his own battle.

Because of that, supporting the American Cancer Society means more to me than simply donating a service through my business.

This year, Signature Moment Event Rentals & Mobile Bartending is honored to donate a bartending package to the Chip Away at Cancer Golf Outing June 5th at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club. The package will be featured as a raffle item helping to raise funds.

Knowing that a future celebration can help contribute to such an important cause makes this donation especially meaningful.

Building this business has always been about creating meaningful experiences and bringing people together. Being able to use it as a platform to support a cause that has affected my family so deeply is something I am incredibly grateful for.

Let me show you something nobody talks about enough.

The person loading this truck at 6am - thatā€™s me. Still in my corporate career, still showing up to a demanding job every single weekday, still giving that everything I have.

And then on the nights, the early mornings, and every weekend? Iā€™m here. Building something that is entirely mine.

My son helps me unload equipment. My daughter follows me around with a camera so we can share this journey with you. And together - imperfectly, exhaustedly, joyfully ā€” we are building Signature Moment from the ground up. āœØ

I want to be really honest about why I do it this way.

Not because itā€™s easy. Itā€™s definitely not easy. There are Saturday mornings where I have been on my feet for 12 hours after a full work week and I am running entirely on purpose and an iced coffee. There are moments where I wonder if Iā€™m stretched too thin.

And then I look over and see my kids showing up for me the way I show up for them every single day.

And I remember exactly why this matters. šŸ’•

I donā€™t do this just to build a business. I do it to show my children - with my actions, not my words - that you do not have to choose between stability and a dream. That you can honor your responsibilities AND pursue something that lights you up. That the only real limitation standing between you and the life you want is the story you tell yourself about whatā€™s possible.

I want them to see their mother bet on herself.
I want them to see her win.
And I want them to grow up knowing that when itā€™s their turn, they already have proof that it can be done.

Because they watched it happen from the passenger seat. ā™„ļø
