✨ Yesterday, November 8th, marked 12 years in the wedding business — and it’s been to do something I truly love.
When I first decided to take this leap, I wanted to be credible in a market where there weren’t many Latinas doing this kind of work, especially in this beautiful city (Chicago). So I got certified, dove right in, and never looked back. Since then, I’ve read countless articles, listened to endless podcasts, followed incredible educators, and attended wedding seminars near and far — all to grow and give my couples the best experience possible.
After all these years, I still learn something new at every event. One of my favorite parts of the day is seeing families and friends come together, hearing the heartfelt speeches, and witnessing the love that fills the room. I get to be front and center for a celebration of love ♥️
This job is far from easy, but it’s beyond rewarding. I’m grateful for every challenge, every lesson, every couple, and everyone who has seen and appreciated the work I pour into this business.
Thank you Jesus for your hand in all of this, for your guidance, and for letting me know to keep going even when I’ve wanted to quit. I wouldn’t be here if you hadn’t put this little gem in my heart ♥️ 🙏🏼
