Little Diner's Crew LDC is a dining club for kids and teens that expand kids palates beyond mac-n-cheese and chicken fin Little Diner’s Crew is a fun food experience.

Kids and teens are seated at their own table, get a chance to try new foods from around the world at different restaurants. They interact with the chef, tour the kitchen, learn how each dish is prepared, where ingredients are sourced, rate each dish they try, and practice appropriate dining etiquette. Parents have the same dining experience at a different table making Little Diner’s Crew a great way for families to share new food experiences together.

No Frills Indonesian Street Food at Garuda

Sunday August 30th, 2-4 pm

Forget the white tablecloths. This one is about the food.

We’re heading to Garuda for an Indonesian experience that isn’t about fancy décor or a five-star setting.

It’s about sitting down, getting comfortable and experiencing the bold flavors, traditional recipes and food culture of Indonesia, the way you might encounter it in the streets.

The table will be filled with dishes made to share:

Ayam Bakar — Indonesian grilled chicken

Beef Rendang — slow-cooked beef packed with Indonesian spices

Bakwan Sayur — crispy vegetable fritters

Gulai Nangka — jackfruit in Indonesian curry

Kale in Indonesian Curry Sauce

Steamed Rice

And yes… kids can use their hands! ✋

The Garuda team will show the kids how certain dishes are traditionally enjoyed, giving them a chance to experience Indonesian food culture.

Parents will also enjoy the full Indonesian Family-Style Experience, including an expanded selection of proteins, side dishes and sambal.

WHAT IS MOFONGO?

At our next Little Diner's Crew adventure, we're traveling to Puerto Rico via Marina’s Bistro one delicious bite at a time!

One of the iconic dishes our Crew will experience is Mofongo, a Puerto Rican favorite with a history as rich as its flavor.

Made from fried green plantains, mofongo is mashed with fresh garlic, olive oil, and stewed chicken to create a savory dish unlike anything most kids have tasted before.

Traditionally prepared in a wooden mortar and pestle called a pilón, mofongo has a hearty texture and bold flavor that has been enjoyed by Puerto Rican families for generations.
