From Server to Owner: Gretta Jackson Makes Outback Steakhouse History
Gretta Jackson started at Outback Steakhouse at 18, a college freshman and young mother working part-time to support her daughter.

Nearly 20 years later, she has achieved a remarkable milestone as the first Black woman to own and operate an Outback Steakhouse franchise in the Detroit area, in Roseville, Michigan.

Her inspiring rise from server to franchise owner is gaining recognition worldwide.
Gretta shares that her greatest joy is motivating other Black women, especially her own daughter, proving that dedication and perseverance can turn dreams into reality.
