‘Tis the season to turn down just a notch! Not every holiday hangout needs to be a volume contest. Sometimes the real festive magic is in those curated, cozy vibes where the DJ sets the scene for actual convos and connections. Let’s show everyone how to keep it intentional and keep it fun. Cheers to a vibe that’s more “let’s talk” and less “let’s shout” this season!

Still blending soulful house on vinyl.
Still protecting the craft.
And again building infrastructure around it.

I play multiple roles because the culture requires it:
curator, strategist, mentor, technologist, connector.

It’s a signal.
A stream team in motion.
A sound system for hospitality, brands, and community.
Virtual and physical. Independent and collaborative.

If you’re watching closely, you already know:
this is bigger than one night, one room, or one platform.

Sound is the foundation.
Strategy is the multiplier.
Community is the future.

This is a streaming team built with intention: music direction, technical ex*****on, and experiential strategy working as one system.

For hospitality groups and brands, this is where streaming becomes leverage — extending the in-room experience, testing concepts, and building cultural equity before guests ever walk through the door.

I lead designs music programming that supports guest experience and brand identity.
ensures sound, visuals, and messaging align with business goals — not trends.

This is how experiential strategy becomes repeatable, scalable, and measurable.

More coming.

In 2020, I didn’t just stream music — I built a system.
A distributed DJ team. A virtual cocktail-bar atmosphere.
Programming designed to keep people connected, uplifted, and engaged during uncertainty.

That work wasn’t accidental.
It was technical ex*****on, music direction, and hospitality thinking working together.

Today, that same infrastructure powers Lux Listenings — curated sound environments, virtual and physical, built to support lounges, hotels, restaurants, and brands looking to turn music into measurable experience.

This is music as hospitality strategy.
Built, not booked.

Building something you may be familiarity — and doing it with a different level of intention.

The Lux Listenings Stream Team is coming together to support an upcoming virtual activation, expanding how I curate and organize sound beyond physical spaces.

This is about using technology, thoughtful music direction, and trusted DJs to create sound experiences that work virtually and in real life — for lounges, hotels, restaurants, retail spaces, and cultural environments.

I’ve always believed music sets the tone for how people feel, connect, and stay present. This next step allows that same care and orchestration to travel further, reach more people, and open new doors.

We’re building toward 2026 with clarity.
More soon. 🎧

Holiday sound doesn’t have to be loud to be effective.

This month’s Sundays Tastings is a holiday listening installation curated as a hospitality asset—designed to support elevated spaces during a season that calls for warmth, intention, and care.

Featuring music from De La Soul, Brian Jackson, Nate Smith, Solange, Carlos Garnett, Yussef Dayes, Jon Lucien, and Twilight Tone, this installation blends jazz lineage, soulful restraint, and modern rhythm—music that supports conversation, encourages guests to linger, and enhances atmosphere without overpowering the room.

At Lux Listenings, music is approached as more than background—it’s part of the guest experience. This holiday offering is designed for lounges, restaurants, lobbies, tasting rooms, and communal spaces that understand atmosphere as an extension of service.

Who says grocery shopping in Lakeview, Chicago can’t turn into a dance floor? Every third Friday, we bring the festive vibes and live music right to Mariano’s. This time, we had Ama and a guest dancing in the aisles, turning a simple grocery store live music session into a full-on holiday groove. Come for the groceries, stay for the fun, and experience a Lakeview Chicago event like no other.

Here’s the part hospitality keeps missing:
music programs don’t fail—inconsistency does.

When DJs are treated as plug-and-play, moved around, or canceled last minute, there’s no room for confidence, no room for sound development, and no reason for guests to form habits. You don’t build traffic on pop-ups alone. You build it through regular rotation.

Consistency is what allows a DJ to bake in their sound.
Consistency is what builds trust with guests.
Consistency is what turns a room into a destination.

That’s why a grocery store in Lakeview can have a growing following. Every third Friday. Same time. Same sound. People don’t guess—they know. They plan for it. They come back for it.

That’s not a one-off set.
That’s not a pop.
That’s a music program.

And when venues play the long game, the audience does too.
