🌹 This week’s Bachelor in Paradise finale had us reminiscing on when everyone’s favorite bartender stepped into a new role — officiating Joe & Serena’s wedding. And yes, Wells came prepared with advice:

Wells’ officiant top tips:
1. Start with a joke. Everyone is nervous, you included. Lightening the mood sets the tone for the whole ceremony.
2. Really get to know the couple. Don’t just ask for their love story — spend time with them, share a meal, swap stories, even push their buttons. The more you understand who they are at their core, the more authentic the ceremony feels.
3. After “You may now kiss the bride,” step aside so you’re not in every photo. 😉
4. Turn your speech into a keepsake — Wells made Joe & Serena a scrapbook they’ll cherish forever.

Paradise may be over for the season, but these tips are timeless. Save this for the friend who just agreed to officiate your wedding.
