Our 50,000 square foot Red Shield Center and 35,000 Square Foot Englewood Services Building offers a wide array of activities and services for people of all ages, which makes us a unique destination for the entire family and positions us to serve those in need. Our current programs and ministries include opportunities for worship, fitness, and youth and senior programs. Our recreational features i

nclude an indoor sports complex comprised of a basketball court, walking track, fitness center and other amenities. The Red Shield Center is one of more than 20 corps community centers throughout Chicagoland. Corps Community Centers are the heart and soul of The Salvation Army. They are the entry point for people in need seeking all types of assistance — feeding their families, paying rent and utility bills, educational and recreational programs for people of all ages, mentorship, worship and more.

A beautiful day at Tulip Tree Gardens Co. !

Today our WM Embrace group enjoyed an afternoon outing filled with fellowship, learning, and lots of smiles. Despite the rain, we had an amazing time touring the farm, learning about the flowers and gardens, creating our own bouquets, and sharing a delicious farm-to-table lunch.

Jesse, Rachael and their wonderful family welcomed us so warmly from the moment we arrived, and every detail made us feel special. The variety of blooms, the wonderful food, and the opportunity to learn something new made for a truly memorable day.

Thank you, Tulip Tree Gardens, for your hospitality and for helping us create such sweet memories together! 💐💕

The Chicago Urban League is inviting job seekers from across the region to attend the 13th Annual Citywide Job Fair, an opportunity to connect with employers, explore career pathways, and access valuable workforce resources.
