THANK YOU, Howard Street. 🧡

The 3rd Annual African Caribbean Diaspora Howard Street Carnaval was everything we dreamed of and then some. Yesterday, Rogers Park came alive. The parade filled our streets, the festival was anointed with love, and the spirit of the diaspora moved through every corner of Howard.

To our incredible vendors who brought the food, the art, the craft, and the cause, thank you. To the performers and artists who set the parade and festival ablaze, thank you. To the kids, the families, the elders, and the community leaders who showed up and showed out, thank you. To every partner, sponsor, organization, and neighbor who marched, danced, and stood with us, THANK YOU.

This is what community looks like. This is what the diaspora looks like. And this is just the beginning.
