Chicago Vintage Weddings is seeking a full-time Rental and Studio Manager to begin immediately.

We are a small events business with a close-knit core team and supportive company culture. EEOC employer.

Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent time management skills
Highly reliable with ability to work independently
At least two years of event industry experience
At least two years of customer service experience
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Clean driving record and ability to drive midsize truck
Weekend availability
Personal vehicle

Preferred:
Interest in decor and design
Associate's or Bachelor's degree
Administrative experience in a small business setting
Experience in Human Resources and/or team management

Main Duties:
Quickly responding to new rental inquiries and generating proposals
Managing rental bookings with clients and vendors
Maintaining inventory catalog and software system
Supervising and working deliveries as needed within operating budget, including management of rental associates when not personally on-site for deliveries and pick ups
Ensuring team adheres to safety and security protocol
Management and maintenance of rental inventory
Supervising organization and maintenance of company studio and truck fleet to legal and company standards, including coordination with vendors to complete maintenance tasks
Management of rental team, including setting schedules, assigning tasks and tracking hours and pay
Creative implementation of marketing strategies to generate new and return business

Compensation and benefits:
$42,000 annual base salary - negotiable based on experience
7% commission on executed rental orders
$300 monthly health care stipend - negotiable. This stipend has worked best for our employees in the past but we are open to sourcing a company plan if preferred.
5 days annual paid sick leave, 5 days annual paid personal leave, 5 days annual paid vacation leave (after 6 months continuous employment), paid holidays off

There are few things more satisfying than a lovely silk ribbon. Genna and Mitchell kept their original date and will be married this afternoon with their closest people. The big party will still be next year and we can’t wait to go big! Meanwhile, we’re appreciating the lovely, meaningful details like this ribbon that will be incorporated into the programs and bouquets. Last night was spent assembling the programs while binging The Office (always!) and poring over notes for today to make sure everything is perfect. 2020 can’t keep this amazing couple and their families down!

Chicago Vintage Weddings is seeking 1-2 reliable warehouse/delivery associates for upcoming busy months. Associate's main responsibility is to ensure that all rental deliveries are made on time and properly placed by following given floorplan/direction.

DESCRIPTION - Qualifying candidates must be able to:
-Lift and move heavy (around 70 lb) furniture safely
-Have license and be able to drive delivery truck (15 foot box truck - no CDL required)
-Be reliable and have a great attitude
-Have great communication and responsiveness for schedule confirmation
-Follow written and verbal instructions to complete deliveries and set ups in a timely manner
-Have great customer service
-Comply with all safety guidelines and venue regulations
-Be able to pass a background check and provide references

HOURS - all schedules are given with a 2 week notice
-Monday 10 AM - 2 PM weekly
-Friday 10 AM - 2 PM weekly
-Occasional weekends and nights
-Rare, but occasional weekdays

PAY
$20/hour paid biweekly, $25/hour after 11 PM

This opportunity is for the next few months but there is opportunity for longer-term employment for the right candidate.
