Anemone has been committed to reducing event industry waste since we opened in 2011. We switched providers to in August of 2023 & this is what we’ve accomplished so far.

✨Appreciation post✨It takes a village to own, create and grow a business. My family supports me when I’m flowering & Anemone has blossomed as my kids have grown up into teenagers. A few months ago, a staff member called in sick on a wedding day morning right as we were loading up the trucks. My son jumped in to help & it was so fun to work with him all day. The kids know what to do because they’ve seen behind the scenes for years and have scrubbed buckets, processed flowers, packed hard goods and helped clean up the studio after strikes. The wedding photographer captured us working together and shared these photos with me. What an absolute gift-my mama bear heart burst when I saw them. Thank you, 💕💕💕

Spring flowers are on deck for tonight’s flower design & candle making class. Gorgeous grill tulips, asters, spray roses and buttery yellow stock will be made into garden inspired arrangements for guests to take home. They’ll also each create a custom 12 oz scented soy candle - we can’t wait!

Enjoy two glasses of wine and some small bites while learning to create sustainable and seasonal centerpieces with expert instruction from me Jessica Petty Smith, the owner of Anemone. This hands-on experience will include all materials needed to create a lovely and whimsical arrangement to take home! Please note that each class we have will feature a different floral design with seasonal blooms so it will always be a new experience.
