“Spring Forward” for Clearbrook’s Shining Star Ball! A new space and glowing setting this year for their important annual benefit set the tone - here’s to fresh perspectives and continued growth!

Clearbrook, a non-profit organization established in 1955, provides services and support for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities like autism, down syndrome, and cerebral palsy, serving over 8,000 children and adults in more than 160 communities in and around Chicago.

Both avid readers and scholars who would meet regularly in their law school stacks, the stately Harold Washington Library was the perfect resource. So many considerate and charming book-ish details…shadow boxes for tray passing with the Bride’s favorite Jane Austen picks, sweetly hand-written card catalog seating, nostalgic table numbers, custom bookmarks for all… So much heart for these two lovebirds!

Sharing the joy & feeling the love! Getting to know Claire and Phil and their people truly felt like the reason for the season. Yes, we were moved, we were touched, we were overwhelmed with emotion, we grinned and we bawled right alongside our big-hearted Bride and Groom. What an incredibly “wow” wedding to close out an extraordinary year!
