The Storm Prediction Center has upgraded portions of the region to a Moderate Risk (Level 4 of 5), signaling an increased threat for significant severe weather.

🌪️ Strong to violent tornadoes (EF3+) are possible, especially with any isolated supercells that develop in the red hatched risk area.

🧊 Baseball-sized hail or larger could occur with the most intense storms.

💨 Damaging winds of 80-100 mph are possible, particularly if storms evolve into bowing segments or a derecho-like system later today.
