Three years ago, I wrote a list describing my ideal role.

As I looked over everything I wanted, I recognized something I had known in my heart all along: the only way to have that role was to create it myself.

So, I took a Quantum leap of faith!

Today, Purple Crown Productions celebrates 3 years.

Has the journey been easy? Nope. Comfortable? Definitely not. Has every moment been enjoyable? Absolutely not.

But has it been worth it?

In celebration of International Jazz Day (IJD), the Jazz Institute of Chicago (JIC) invites audiences to experience the city’s vibrant jazz scene in a new and immersive way through the Chicago Jazz Club Experience.

This one-night, citywide event invites jazz lovers and curious newcomers alike to explore Chicago’s rich jazz culture across multiple neighborhoods. Guests will choose from themed routes, visiting a curated selection of jazz clubs throughout the evening

I finally have time to share what I've been raving about to ALL my friends these past couple weeks- my brand spanking new Headshots by Norvell's Photography !! I'm usually a post one HS pic at a time girly but all these are Too good for me to choose just one for this post.

Throwback to last year's , hosted by Renita Quirls, owner of the BE YOUR OWN KIND (of beautiful) platform! This women's empowerment dinner is designed to celebrate empowering women creating impact and as you can tell from the pictures, everyone had an amazing time! Great music, a feast fit for queens, vendors, a program filled with entertainment, awards and community building at the perfect venue. What more could you ask for!?

I think events have turned me into a flowers girly. There's something about flowers I just can't explain. Even though I like the idea of "buying yourself flowers", I never get around to it and I do enjoy receiving them. I love being able to take some home after a long event day. Yesterday's event work has me on the couch all day today 😭
