I’ve always believed in supporting other women with their creative talents … to give guidance + encouragement + opportunities especially with my gallery space. This young lady is a future bride whom I met with to discuss ideas for her wedding and the more we talked I knew she had it in her to create her own vision and make it a reality.
Tatiana is an art teacher for the youth in her community and she had such passion for expressing her thoughts. We had discussed prior her concept of making it feel like a Japanese garden with spring blossom trees + water lilies on a water like aisle + to the Zen music and singing bowls in the background as guests arrive … we sat and talked for over 2 hours this last time and I knew this was going to be her best art project yet. I will be there to assist during her set up as my gift to her and to guide + give support in any manner.

One of our neighbors next door to our studio started baking these amazing organic breads with fresh herbs she grew herself ...she’s a photographer and wanted to create something with her hands + memories.
I bought this loaf to be supportive and decided to bring it to my sister’s house for the New Year along with champagne.
She pulled it out of the paper bag and unwrapped the surrounding tissue and looked up at me with surprise, then placed on a table all by itself.
I gazed at it, smiled and had to capture a picture.

~This loaf of bread made from love became more symbolic of the simple forces of life. Bread is the quintessential human food with its history of connecting people together to culture to tradition to even religion...
As we broke the bread, I felt hope with this first day of the New Year knowing that we share in life cherished memories of happiness along with sadness...but knowing to always have hope + strength to get through and see a brighter future...for without darkness inspirational light would not be so strong to guide us through.

~ to all my couples that went through such difficult times, look at this new day with confidence + trust that a brighter new path will unfold for all of us....
So break a loaf of bread with someone you love today 💛🙌

During this pandemic it’s heart felt when true love over powers everything... from restrictions to safety precautions to uninviting guests as to meet the capacity mandates... Candice & Alfonzo exchanged their vows and became husband + wife!💛

I got to know Candice during these difficult times with endless changes and truly admire her strength + determination.
I feel so privilege to have been a part of their special day and can’t wait until they can pop over to our creative studio to toast with some champagne 🍾🥂

What a beautiful 3rd Friday opening at Bridgeport Art Center with so many talented artists and everyone safety distancing within ...
I was so happy to create this installation within my gallery “The Tree of Manifesting” .... it was important to design an environment where people could interact within this energy with selected high frequency music + lighting + this magnificent hand made tree.
Each person wrote their desire on a recycle tag and hung it from the branches...then took a candle when they left to manifest on...their written note would be mailed back to them ... 💖
