June Sunset Deep Selections on Beatport

Most people know me through my productions and releases in melodic house & techno, but my journey started long before that as a DJ.

I've always enjoyed exploring different corners of electronic music, and deep house has been a constant source of inspiration throughout the years.

This month's chart is a selection of records that caught my attention recently. Timeless grooves, thoughtful arrangements, and tracks that remind me why I fell in love with dance music in the first place.

I started as a musician and today I’m a DJ and Producer.

I think we spend too much time debating what should or shouldn’t be called a live performance.

For me, it’s simple. A live performance is a human being physically present, using their body, mind, skills, and experience to create a moment in real time.

The instrument may change. The technology may change. The human element doesn’t. At the same time, I don’t believe an artist needs an audience to be an artist.

We become artists because we feel compelled to create and express something, whether anyone is watching or not.

I didn’t start this for money, fame, or recognition. I started because music made me happy.

If something I create inspires someone, helps someone, heals someone, or simply makes their day a little better, then I’ve done what I came here to do.

has been finding its way into a lot of my sessions lately.

The integration with Live 12 is incredibly well done, especially with MPE support. In this clip, I’m using touch motion to control the filter cutoff, making the performance feel more expressive and organic.
