It feels deeply dissonant to share beautiful content amidst the profound abuse of power unfolding in our country right now. While I’ve often reserved my in-feed posts for creativity and beauty - the reason many of you first followed me - today, I can’t remain silent.

We are living in truly alarming times. What’s happening is not “business as usual.” And to pretend otherwise is to ignore a growing erosion of the very freedoms this country claims to stand for.

I believe those of us with a voice have a responsibility to speak - not just for ourselves, but for those whose voices are being silenced. The treatment of immigrants, minorities, women, the LGBTQ+ community, the economically vulnerable, and even those beyond our borders - it’s not just unjust. It’s inhumane. And it’s un-American.

To love this country means to hold it accountable. Speaking out against injustice is not unpatriotic - it is the deepest form of patriotism. I know sharing this may cost me followers, partnerships, and clients. But the cost of silence is far greater. If we don’t speak now, we risk losing the ability to speak at all.

If you have a platform, use it. If you have a voice within your community, raise it. Have the hard conversations. Ask the hard questions. Let’s remember our shared humanity. Let’s rise together - and place ourselves firmly on the right side of history.
