Okay. Not a chandelier, but aerial silks. With the in full swing, and all the excitement with the big ones (gymnastics and swimming) I can’t help but be reminded of this inspired shoot! Our bride model got up and had some fun doing some swinging (so effortlessly) just like the gymnasts make it look so easy. But she did it in a GOWN, honey!! Go !

A few days late, but happy one year anniversary to Morgan + Jack! This past year seems like so long ago. The amount of love and support from their family and friends this day was just so sweet to be a part of! Congrats and cheers to the next year!

Here I stand in the light of day.

This is one of my all-time favorite images from a wedding. It is just filled with so much joy! And in light of , marriage is something that the community hasn't had the ability to for that long - so celebrating and the fact that we can have them all across the country is still a relatively new feeling, and SO exciting to celebrate!

History Lesson: The first Pride was a riot. Because we're humans and we should all be equal. It should not be a question that . And that first riot was started by Stormé DeLarverie, a black le***an, who had enough and called on her community to do something. And on this anniversary of the shooting, amidst all the turmoil in our country, we must continue to fight injustices, because .

If you swipe through, you can see more of the design that I alluded to in my post yesterday/all week. The / were triangles, representing the mountains that the couple love so much in Colorado to frame them as their backdrop of the city they love and reside in. I proposed the seating be arranged in triangles as well and each bride entered from one side with their parents and then after being married, together down the aisle. They also incorporated a champagne toast in their ceremony as champs is a favorite of theirs. I just love how it all came together and am so happy I got to help them celebrate!

This invitation suite had some of the most thought put into it, incorporating the design elements and thoughtfully choosing how to incorporate both the mountains that the couple loved and the city they lived in. We came up with the graphic mountains in the skyline to allude to duality and then it played out in the invitation and RSVP with the mirror of mountains to the skyline. Also note the bean as the checkbox for the RSVP 😜 There is a slight nod to geometry in it as well, with the triangles representing the mountains and that played out the most on the day of with the altar installation (which will be featured tomorrow). It was just so cohesive and I friggin' love how it turned out!

Continuing details from Tessa + Ally's day and featuring this STUNNING . This was a repurposing of the installation for the ceremony backdrop (which I'll share later). I didn't want it something so beautiful to only be used for the ceremony, so I asked the florist, Kat , if we could transport it inside and she was down and we made this moment work as an awesome statement for the head table, framing the couple in the middle, and was a continued backdrop for all the reception activities from the cake cutting, toasts, and special dances. I'd rather be dry, but at least I'm alive.

You will always find me vibing and grooving at receptions. Sometimes this is caught on camera. I'm often off to the side or in a corner, and sometimes the music and couple pull me in! It's that time of night where there isn't too much to do and one of the things I love so much about being a wedding planner!
•
While I haven't had this feeling for a while and it's looking like it won't be for a little while longer, I'm SO thankful to the couples that are still booking and still eagerly wanting to celebrate their big day when we can safely! Until then, I'm ready, RAIN ON ME!

This is also maybe what I would look like dancing to the new Lady Gaga and Ariana song. It's fun, a mix of 80s and electro-pop. It also has a great meaning that can be adapted to how we're all feeling, both personally and about events! Go give it a listen!

It's been a minute, but I'm celebrating both and and it is just a winning combo! killed it with the flowers and crushed it with the cakes (including a custom cookie cake as the groom's cake)! Just perfection! And the linen from just made it all pop! I love it when all the details come together!
