Our team is available to shoot your wedding at any location in the greater Chicago area. Owner and senior photographer Stephen Garrett is an accomplished, artistic professional with over 25 years of experience across a broad spectrum of photographic arts. From advertising, product and portraiture to fashion and event photography, Stephen brings his fresh approach and vast photographic knowledge to

this very demanding discipline. Stephen and the Lofty Weddings team have shot weddings from coast to coast, in beautiful churches, simple chapels, gardens, and on the beach. As professional wedding photographers, we are prepared to shoot in every situation, whether it be in the blazing sun of summer or the chilly grey days of winter. We do take lovely shots of the bride and groom and formal portraits of the bridal party and families, but we don't take you away from your party. Our main focus for the day is to shoot events as they really happen- all the funny, crazy spontaneity that you'll want to remember and none of the tired old posed shots that traditional wedding photographers do. Stephen is also the owner of Loft on Lake, the trendy new event venue in Chicago's West Loop and provides discounted photography services at the Loft as part of the Lofty Weddings Essentials package which includes venue, catering, liquor, rentals and day of coordination.
